The 2010 EISA Awards happened and here are the winners in each category:
European Smartphone 2010-2011: Samsung I9000 Galaxy S. Last year it was the iPhone 3GS.
European Tablet Award 2010-2011: iPad. It was praised particularly for its email handling.
European Mobile Phone Award 2010-2011: Sony XPERIA X10 Mini.
European Social Media Phone Award 2010-2011: Samsung S8500 Wave. The jury was impressed with the way the first Bada OS functioned.
European Headphones Award 2010-2011: Beyerdynamic T 50 p
European Portable Navigation Device 2010-2011: Garmin Nuvi 3790t
A 'green' award went to the LG GD510 Pop for its efficient packaging, low energy consumption and use of recycled materials. Surprisingly this year there was no camera phone or music phone category.
