IPhone 4 is now legally jailbroken. A few days after the US Copyright Office ruled that bypassing the manufacturer's embedded protection is not illegal the iPhone Dev Team released a jailbreak for iPhone 4 at Jailbreakme.com
This new jailbreak doesn't need the phone to be connected to a computer, instead, it uses mobile Safari. This browser based jailbreak works on all iOS devices including iPods, iPads and iPhones running iOS 4.1 but will reportedly not work on the beta version of iOS 4.1.
Some users have reported that this jailbreak disrupts Face Time and MMS on the phone.
